Kauai

Kauai, Hawaii If you have thought about going to Hawaii for vacation, my advice is that you choose Kauai as your destination. To me, Kaui offers some of the most beatiful coastlines and valleys in all the Hawaiian Islands. There is something for just about everyone here. If you want to experience the charm of "old Hawaii" this place is for you. There are not as many people on this island as the others and the pace is just that much slower. There are mountains like "Kong" which actually looks like King Kong's head at the peak or "Waimea Canyon" which muli-colored panorama will melt the senses. My wife and I liked the ocean beaches the most. You will find plentiful beaches that have almost no one on them. With palm trees hanging down and white beached you can clearly see the beaches in your minds eye. Then there are the movie aspects. From the place where "Bali Hai" was filmed to the place and hotel where Elis Presley starred in "Blue Hawaii are both here. Plus, you'll see where the first episode of Gilligan's Island was filmed to the lush areas where "Dino's" where roaming about in Jurrassic Park. It goes on and on. You can go to a luau, take a boat ride on the outskirts of the island or just do nothing and admire the scenery. There are plentiful food establishments on the island at all different price ranges. We think that when you visit the island you will be pleased. Kaui is A+ in our book. |
